A letter to Nehemiah

 She, the girl named Nehemiah met him on 14th of February

She had wonder who that person was

She was busy with her career and was dating at that time.

So, she thought less of him.

Month have passed, same routine

It was March when she heard him sang for the first time

She knew he sang from his heart and soul

It was a beautiful melody to hear

Long time ago, there was a man who she loves to hear him sing

That chapter though has ended years ago.

They never saw each other again

She tried to reach out and reconnect again but timing isn't there

Month of June came, she wanted to know him more

Feeling hesitant and afraid somehow with rejection

It was him who try to reach out first 

So she thought they can be friends during that time

Months passed, he had changed

She didn't have any idea whether she did something wrong

So, she decided to stop talking to him again

After several months, he started talking to her again

She was fine with not talking anyway

It was clear. She trust the guy for she shared her biggest problem last December

She thought he cares, she thought she's somehow special to him

So she gathered all her courage to confess that she likes him

She was afraid to know the answers, she waited

It was 25th of April when she found out the truth

And she clearly accepted that wholeheartedly for she expected it

She wants to know the person more still

She wants to be a close friend for him

But all he did is push her away

They say that friendship is the best relationship you'll ever had

Maybe he didn't believe that

He had hurt her not just once, but twice

Is she a bad person to experienced such thing?

She's trying to ignore him but she can't

She had made up her mind;

Next year maybe June , she will be gone and it's not unfair

His mother knew that this girl has big dreams

She planned the idea of working abroad, she told her

If it's God's will, so help her God.

My dear Nehemiah, I knew your father was always proud of who you are and what you've become

Just live with the moment, Stay humble, Always be kind

Love yourself more, guard your heart

Lift everything to God whatever your heart desires.

New Beginnings

It's start of the new year 2021

Time  to make your resolutions and goals

Create plans and make it happen

It's a must to incorporate yourself with positivity.

I can't conclude that last year was the worst year.

The fact that I'm still here writing this;

Is something to be grateful for, right?

Most people rooted problem is they love to complain

Complain about anything that they believed wrong

It's better to look in oneself first;

After deep realizations within, you decide;

Am I still doing it right? Do I see the bigger picture out of it?

I'm not perfect though, I commit mistakes, I'm stubborn

I've learned the hard and easy way

There was a point in my life;

Where I'd find it hard to laugh or smile;

Due to painful losses and circumstances

The strongest thing that I grip unto is my faith to God

Without it, I have given up life.

I won't be able to stand and begin again.

My dear friend, I know you have your own silent battles

Keep in mind that God's with you

He will never abandon you nor forsake you

Just believe, have faith and begin again.

Loving Oneself

 Have you ever been so confused about how you feel towards a person?

I think I am stuck between the past and present

He is out of my league

Lately, I do wonder if he has feelings for me.

I really want to ask him

But I don't want to assume

I'm afraid of rejection 'coz I've been there before

He never fails to make me smile when he laughs

He never fails to listen whenever I speak out about life's problems

He never fails to help me when I needed it

Am I falling for him?

The other person was my first love

We've known each other for fifteen years  now

Our communication just stopped

I want to talk to him personally

But, what's the use? He doesn't care anyway

Yes, he knows my birthday

But he only greeted me once..

I felt like I am nothing to him

It seems that he doesn't see me as a friend ever!

For now, all I care about is myself

Build my career, do what makes me happy.

Let God works what's best for me.

He really is the best relationship that I've ever had amongst all.

I really hope and pray for better days ahead.

Life is full of uncertainties
You'll never know where you're heading at
Getting a job would never be easy 
You may encounter a lot of rejections

Stand still, don't lose hope
Yes, many doors have closed for you
Sooner or later you'll have that chance
They would trust and believe that you can do it

You will never doubt yourself again
They will encourage you
To become the better version of you
They will help you grow as a person

Be patient, for God is with you.
You just have to act and wait for His timing
The chapters hasn't ended yet
He is about to write your beautiful story

Be strong, wise and kind to face what's ahead of you.

The road we're about to take would never be easy

We face trials, triumph, and treasured those events.

It's always been a dream to love someone;
Someone who loves music endlessly.
Every time you strum your guitar;
I know how lovely those melody it brings.

You called, I heard you play piano.
I remember how I tried playing that, funny thing is I never learned.
It's better if I sing a song for you.
A music of love for you to remember.

Thank you for coming into my life.
The smiles, laughter and love you showered me.
Whenever I had a problem, I can always count on you
I treasured everything you impart towards me.

Sorry if I become jealous easily.
It's not that I don't trust you.
It's just the distance that gives me doubts.
I knew how much you love me.

But you've decided to stop for awhile.
Maybe it's my fault, isn't it?
I am just here waiting...
Not expecting anything from you in return.
